Starting Friday, June 17th, take a scenic ride on the Marina WaterBus for $1 per person, one-way. The open-air pontoon runs summer Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through September 5. Stops include Burton Chace Park, Fisherman’s Village, Mother’s Beach, Brizo Bar & Restaurant and more.

Hours: Fridays: 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Saturdays: Noon – 10:00 p.m., and Sundays: Noon – 9:00 p.m. with some holidays.

2. PRACTICE YOUR CANNON BALL SKILLS

Give the dads and father figures in your life a cinema experience by the sea! Every Sunday, Jamaica Bay Inn offers a free outdoor movie on their lawn just steps from Marina “Mother’s” Beach. This Sunday’s feature film is “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” (PG-13)—perfect for Marvel and action-film fans! Bring your own low chair or blanket. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase at Beachside.
