Marina del Rey has over 4,600 boat slips. The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors oversees all anchorages in the Marina. Individual anchorages are managed by a number of public and private organizations, including yacht clubs and apartment management companies. A dockmaster at each anchorage is in charge of renting slips. For local regulations on boating in the harbor, and for live-aboard questions, contact the Harbor Master at the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department: 310-482-6000; 13851 Fiji Way.
