We’ve got the 2023 Easter brunch guide, new menus from local eateries, and culinary events that’ll have your taste buds dancing. P.S. We’ve seen the sign go up for plant-based chain Planta Cocina at Boardwalk Shops. We know that Winston Pies (which has locations in Brentwood, Santa Monica and Hollywood) is also opening next door. However, they are not open yet. We’ll definitely post opening details as we get more info!

ALFRED

To celebrate their 10 Year Anniversary, this trendy coffee shop located at the Boardwalk Shops in MDR unveiled the Alfred Signature Menu. This is a curated collection of Alfred’s greatest hits – their World Famous Vanilla Latte, O.G. Chagaccino and the coveted season special, Lavender Latte – as well as three brand-new, out-of-the-box drinks – Matchaga (matcha with functional mushrooms), Alfred Bolt (a crisp clean energy drink) and Alfred Boost (a plant protein shake).

Check out the drinks next time you pop in and of course, enjoy the water views !

BEACHSIDE

Celebrate the return of spring by the beach with free live music every Thursday evening on the patio at Beachside from 6 to 9 p.m. Live music kicks off on April 13. Seating is first-come, first served. Click here for the line-up.
