YOGAqua Class at Mother's Beach
Make the ocean your yoga mat with YOGAqua, which brings the practice and art of yoga into perfect fusion with stand-up paddleboarding.
The 90-minute Vinyasa flow is open to all levels which includes an introductory lesson on stand-up paddling. Group and private classes take place on the calm cove at Marina “Mother’s” Beach, so there are no waves or currents to discourage beginners.
The first 30 minutes is dedicated to learning how to properly use a paddleboard and peacefully paddle around the harbor and the remaining hour is dedicated to yoga on the paddleboard. Each board has an individual anchor that is dropped down before the Yoga portion of class begins so that the student does not drift while focusing on their practice.
