Summer WaterBus

In the summertime take advantage of the Marina del Rey WaterBus! For $1 each way, visitors enjoy a unique bird’s-eye view of the community as colorful boats carry passengers to many of the marina’s major attractions, hotels and restaurants. The WaterBus runs mid-June through early September. No reservations required. Some stops include Burton Chace Park, Fisherman’s Village, Waterfront Walk (near Tony P’s), Mother's Beach and others. Bikes and strollers are allowed on board; pets are not allowed.

Playa Vista Beach Shuttle

Our free seasonal Playa Vista Beach Shuttle runs a loop between Playa Vista, Marina del Rey, and the Venice Pier. Throughout summer, hop on these orange buses on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sundays and select holidays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The shuttle also runs on Saturdays for the Summer Concert Series at Burton Chace Park.

EV Charging Stations

Charging your electric vehicle is easy in EV-friendly Marina del Rey. You’ll find charging stations conveniently located by Burton Chace Park and at the Boardwalk Shops MDR, as well as Tesla-only Superchargers at the Marina del Rey Hotel.
