The Marina continues to operate normally and remains a safe and secure haven for those impacted by the fire. Evacuees can inquire about special hotel rates by contacting hotels directly or click below to check availability. All Marina del Rey hotels are pet-friendly. At this time, all hotels are welcoming dogs, cats, and other small pets—please contact hotels for specific pet policies.

However, we encourage travelers to monitor local traffic reports and news for any potential updates on road conditions. The Marina del Rey area remains easily accessible for visitors. Marina del Rey is located just 4 miles north of LAX, just a 15-minute drive offering easy access for travelers. 

Are there any flight disruptions or travel disruptions at LAX?

The Los Angeles International Airport (website) continues to operate without interruption, remaining fully open and functional. Passengers should check their flight status directly with their airline. 

How is the air quality in Marina del Rey?

While air quality has been affected in some areas immediately adjacent to the fires, the air quality in Marina del Rey remains clear and healthy. We recommend visiting airnow.gov to check real-time air quality. 

Will traveling to Marina del Rey contribute to traffic congestion in fire-affected areas?

Traffic congestion may be more pronounced in fire-impacted zones. Since Marina del Rey is not in the impacted areas, it is not experiencing significant disruptions. Check traffic reports for updates before traveling. 

Are hotel rooms in Marina del Rey being allocated to displaced residents instead of tourists?

While some hotels are offering rooms to displaced individuals, there is still ample availability for visitors in Marina del Rey. Currently our hotels have availability.

Local transportation services, including shuttles, taxis, and rideshare options, are operating as usual. If there are any unforeseen disruptions, alternative transportation options are available to ensure smooth and timely arrivals for your attendees.

Group Activities

Marina del Rey offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor options for group activities that can be easily adjusted to suit changing conditions. Whether you’re planning team-building activities, social events, or excursions, you can choose from a variety of flexible indoor venues, such as conference rooms, banquet halls, and entertainment spaces. Outdoor activities like yacht charters, bike rentals, and stand-up paddle tours can be rescheduled or modified if needed. Indoor activities such as yoga classes, “escape room” excursions, and more are available in the Marina. Our team can provide suggestions based on your needs.
